Caddai (the “Company”) collects the following information to provide the Service:

  • Required: email address, password (stored encrypted), course name.
  • Collected automatically: IP address, browser information (User Agent), service usage logs, timestamp of consent acceptance.
  • Optional: profile information (name, profile picture) if you connect a Google account.

2. Purpose of Collection and Use

  • Account creation, identity verification, and account management.
  • Service delivery, content generation, and operation.
  • Customer support and dispute resolution.
  • Fraud prevention and security (including CAPTCHA verification).
  • Maintaining a legal record of consent acceptance.
  • Marketing and promotional communications (only with explicit opt-in).

3. Retention Period

The Company retains personal information for as long as the Member uses the Service, and deletes it promptly upon account closure. The following records are retained for the periods required by applicable law:

  • Consent records: 5 years (Korean E-Commerce Act).
  • Access logs (IP, timestamp): 3 months (Korean Communications Privacy Act).
  • Payment and transaction records: 5 years.

4. Sharing with Third Parties

The Company does not share personal information with third parties except for the purposes stated in this policy, when required by law, or when the Member has given prior consent.

5. Third-Party Processors

The Company entrusts processing to the following providers:

  • Supabase: authentication and database operations.
  • Netlify: service hosting and deployment.
  • Cloudflare: bot protection (Turnstile CAPTCHA).
  • Google: OAuth sign-in (optional).

6. Your Rights

You may exercise the following rights at any time, either through your account settings or by contacting us at the address below:

  • Request access to your personal information.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion (account closure).
  • Request that processing be paused.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Company uses cookies to maintain login sessions and secure the Service. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may limit your ability to use parts of the Service.
